Anya Stickland

I have always had a love of nature. Upon moving to the Isle Of Wight, I was able to explore my love of flowers by joining the Ventnor Botanical Artists which was based at Ventnor Botanic Gardens. A wonderful place to study and paint the plants.

My art is inspired by the Island’s rich & diverse fauna & flora. I enjoy the mediums of watercolour and more recently coloured pencil. I am also exploring painting detailed images on material using fabric paints and creating flowers from paper.
