Elise Barnard

I am a watercolour artist and live in Gurnard, Isle of Wight. Originally, I came to the Isle of Wight as a metallurgist working in aerospace but left in 2015 to become a carer for my family and was delighted to be able to spend more time painting! I love plein air painting and paint outdoors several times a week in all weather. I love capturing light – dappled light under trees, refracted light in sea water, sunlight sea sparkles-and I also enjoy portraits of pets, people and buildings. In addition to painting, I can print my designs onto products in my studio which are sold on the Isle of Wight and Oxfordshire.

DIRECTIONS
Worsley Road is the main road through Gunrad. The Village Hall is located half the way down. Signage and bunting will direct you to the short lane leading to the hall entrance. You can also park on Worsley Road and walk the 50 yards to the Village Hall.
