Many families nowadays live further away from their loved ones – Community Spirited know how difficult this is, especially when they start to lose their independence or have a spell in hospital.  Some of their families are on the mainland – they hope that when their families need extra support, they will have a team like Community Spirited to help them and to bridge that anxiety gap by updating them on their progress (The positives and the negatives!)

Bridging the gap across the Solent has never been more important to us.

The services that Community Spirited offer are:

Home Care Services, Activity Sessions, Admin Work/Letter Writing, Handyman and Gardening, Dementia Care. They also have a Community Cafe which hosts events Tuesday – Thursday (Have a look at our ILC diary)

Parkside is usually open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, the only exception is if they are called to see a client in need. They have items of clothing, DVDs, CDs and books for sale, many items are 50p, (they accept donations, but have limited space).
