The Isle of Wight Model Engineering Society is open to all model train, boat or yacht enthusiasts.

Situated in the one of the most northern tips of the Island the Society’s home, Broadfields, can be found tucked away behind Northwood Cricket Club, Park Road in Cowes. The access road to both the cricket club and Broadfields is located between the skateboard park and the children’s play area at Cowes Recreation Ground. (Postcode for sat nav is PO31 7NN)

You can have a ride on either of the model train railways that go around the site – they’re always busy!

Do you have a model boat or yacht that you’d like to sail on the pond?  Bring it along on the day and just check in with one of their boating team! There’s normally a ‘hive-of-activity’ going on and you’ll be able to soak up the friendly atmosphere and talk to current members who will be pleased to tell you all about the Society.

There’s a cafe on site so you’ll be able to have a cup of tea with a piece of cake, or ice creams and lollies.
